Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 cups confectioners' sugar (to taste)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup chopped pecans

Directions
1. In a medium bowl, combine butter, cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
2. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
3. Stir in chopped pecans.
4. Frost the cooled cake.

NOTE: The frosting has a strong cream cheese taste when first mixed.  This will mellow out overnight.  Keep in mind when the cake will be eaten when determining how much sugar to add to the frosting.  Use this for the Carrot Cake.
