White Chip Orange Cookies

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
2 cups white chocolate chips

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl; set aside.
3. In a larger bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until creamy.
4. Beat in egg and orange peel.
5. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
6. Stir in white chocolate chips.
7. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
9. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

NOTE: These cookies generally cook thin for me, so you may need to let them cool longer before you remove them from the baking sheets.
