Oma's German Pound Cake

Ingredients
6 eggs
2 cups of sugar
2 cups of flour
1 cup of oil
1 tsp of lemon extract

Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Farenheit
2. Mix ingredients together in a large bowl.
3. Grease and flour a tube pan, or just use PAM.

4. Cook for 40 minutes or until the top bounces back when you push it down with your finger. (Another method: a toothpick pushed into the cake and pulled out again should come out clean, without any cake clinging to it.)

Possible Variations
Almond, vanilla, or orange extract can be substituted for the lemon.

1/4 to 1/2 a cup of amaretto could also be used, for vanilla flavoring, in place of extract. This significantly increases the cook time.
