Ingredients
8 ounces thinly sliced mushrooms
2 cups boiling water
3 chicken bouillon cubes or equivalent base or granules
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1/4 cup butter
3 tablespoons flour
3 cups milk
salt and pepper

1. In a large saucepan, combine mushrooms, boiling water, chicken bouillon, and onion.
2. Bring to a boil.
3. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Instructions, Saucepan 2
1. Melt butter in another saucepan.
2. Blend in flour.
3. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly.
4. Cook until thickened.
5. Add sauce (Saucepan 2) to mushrooms (Saucepan 1) and season to taste with salt and pepper.
